For most of the year, the Edingburgh Zoo has a daily penguin parade. They had one when we were there, but it was rather warm, and anyway the penguins were busy molting or nesting, so only one came out to parade. Unfortunately, penguins are pack animals, and they’re not to bright. If just one penguin parades, s/he gets about halfway out, realizes that s/he’s all alone, and panics! So they had to shoo this penguin back into the penguin pen. This little one did not want to go.
